The Business Librarians Association annual conference will take you on a journey to business librarianship enlightenment. Jump onboard and enjoy the best of locations, speakers, networking events and accommodation. All for a significantly subsidised price (held at the same price as previous years) thanks to your institutions BLA membership. It is a unique opportunity for business librarians to catch up with current trends in the business library world, meet suppliers directly and network with peers from other universities in the UK and around the world.

The 2019 conference is being held at the Ron Cooke Hub, University of York. Our Sponsors dinner will take place at the amazing National Railway Museum where we will enjoy dinner in the Station Hall. The Thursday Gala Dinner will be based at The Grand Hotel, York where all delegates will also be staying for two nights in 5 star accommodation.

This year the conference is organised jointly by York St John University and University of Huddersfield with a theme of Inclusivity and Diversity. Confirmed speakers so far include Prof. Gurminder K Bhambra, Debbi Boden Angell, Dr. Victoria Burns and Prof. Liz Thomas.

This year places are strictly limited so please book early.

The full conference rate is £350 which includes all conference sessions, 2 nights accommodation, meals, drinks and both the dinner at the National Railway Museum and the Gala Dinner.
